A couple of years ago a friend/collegue of mine went on a trip around the world. There was just a small catch, it was't a regular trip, it was a bike trip. They asked their friends/collegues to write a letter to keep them company on their trip. I don't write letter, I'm terrible in writing letters. Instead of a letter I wrote them this song
lyrics
Get up our bike, on sunny July morning
Got the miles up ahead, the wind in our back unfurl
Leaving all my family, leaving all my friends
It's a long long road I'm travelling
But I'll come home again, somehow, somewhere, someday
I'm far, far away, far away, far away
Far away from home
It's late tonight, crossed valleys of shadow
And the road still winds, don't know for how much longer
Leaving all my family, leaving all my friends
It's a long long road I'm travelling
But I'll come home again, somehow, somewhere, someday
I'm far, far away, far away, far away
Far away from home
Yes we're doing fine, seen all the things we want to
Got lost the time, our dreams can never stop us
Leaving all my family, leaving all my friends
It's a long long road I'm travelling
But I'll come home again, somehow, somewhere, someday
I'm far, far away, far away, far away
Far away from home
And we're going strong,
All the way our dreams unfold
All the way our dreams unfold
Leaving all my family, leaving all my friends
It's a long long road I'm travelling
But I'll come home again, somehow, somewhere, someday
I'm far, far away, far away, far away
Far away from home
